6 Tips you shall not forget in your Wedding Day

Since the minute you get engaged, everyone will be telling you about so many things you have to do and plenty of them you must not do, by any chance. From experience we know not all of them are a good idea, and a lot of the people are telling you exactly what they did wrong. As funny as it sounds, they would probably repeat the same mistakes over and over again.

It's impossible for a couple to take care of everything and even if you think you have everything under control, probably things will come up in the very last minute. The best thing of this list we are going to share with you, is that you really don't have to plan for it, just live it. We will share with you exactly 6 things you must not forget on your wedding day to do to make it "THE WEDDING".

1. Pictures with your bridesmaids is such a big trend right now but make sure you set some rules. If you want to have your girls accompany you in the hours before the big "I do" you can either have a separate room for them to get ready or have them come to the photographic session already dressed and ready. Why? Mainly because if you don't, there is a big chance the official photographs will show everything nobody really takes care off that day. For exmaple your girlfriend Sindy's jeans on the chair, Karly's T-shirt hanging from the door knob and Lina's intimates on top of your bed. The beautiful and cared for pictures will loose all the glamour and elegance with those details in the back.

2. Don't rush towards the altar. There's no hurry. Don't take me wrong, I am not saying you can be late to your own wedding. It's not cool to keep your groom waiting. It basically means that you don't need to run the 440-yard dash and forget to see all the smiles and looks focused on you. The best part is the intrigue where you will see your man totally in, emotional and bursting out on tears.

3. Take your time to enjoy the reception room before anyone else goes in. Make the time for it. Be sure to tell your Wedding Planner to include some minutes during the cocktail where you will be able to go into the reception to admire the beautiful decoration, the romantic candle lights, and most of all make it some "alone time with your new hubby". It will be the first minutes alone with your new spouse and they will be unforgettable.

4. Eat! Enjoy the food. Sit down and make sure you eat. Guest will come to you. You are the main character of this movie. Believe me when I say, they will come to your table. At the end, you will be able to enjoy the amazing and tasty meal you have planned for with so much love.

 5. Dance, enjoy and most of all, SMILE. The day goes by really really fast and you can, by mistake and without knowing, loose yourself in a picture taking, saluting crusade. Unknowingly you will be missing the most important parts of your wedding. Avoid it.

6. This last one it's more a personal advice from professional experience. If it doesn't interfere with your personal or religious belief we fully recommend to do a "first look" with your soon to be spouse. Why?  It's completely worth it! It will take all the urge out and will make those minutes irreplaceable and intimate. Don't think doing this won't make the entrance to the ceremony less special, you both will be able to enjoy it even more, for you will already have loosen up and won't be as nervous. Believe us, it's a great experience.

The 5 biggest truths about a wedding no one wants to talk about

A wedding is such an important event that needs to be taken care of meticulously and with every detail. All couples get excited but 90% of the time, they have never been in this marrying process before so they are not aware of how it works. We are here to tell you what no body will but everyone knows.

1. Every time we meet with a couple and their families, and they start talking about their own “timing”, what they think is going to happen at each particular meeting of the wedding, it’s always the same mistake: how much time it takes for the ceremony. Always they give one hour for the ceremony, no more than that. Even, the wedding venues, will give just 60 minutes for the ceremony; but at the end, everyone knows it takes more than that. The estimate is at least one hour and fifteen minutes more for the official picture taking. As Wedding Experts, in our timelines, we always set at least 1.5 hours for the ceremony, including the most wanted pictures of close family, bridesmaids and groomsmen. Make sure you don’t underestimate the love of the people that arrive to your wedding. They WILL want to take a picture with you. Smile!

2. The protocol states that the newly weds have to go from table to table toasting with all their guests and taking a picture for the future. Sometimes, this is the only picture the guest will have with the bride and groom. Let’s be honest: it’s painful, boring, I can certify you will want to quit this procession and most of all, the guest don’t want to wait for you either. If you wait for dinner to be served until you finish with the “table trip”, the guest will be annoyed and hungry, and probably, you will be too. Some couples think it’s better to serve food, but ultimately, it’s a trick. Your guest will see food and leave the table. Or, in the worst-case scenario, your pictures will have people with their mouth full. One piece of advice: if you take a picture and toast with one table, you will have to do it with all of them.

3. Time flies as the famous Janet Jackson used to sing. Really, it’s unbelievable but all recently married couples will give you this advice: enjoy it because it doesn’t last. Most of our couples spend from 8 to 14 months preparing their big day and it feels heartbreaking when after so long of working towards it, so much effort and detailed energy put into it, the wedding day goes by so fast. When you realize, it’s over and can’t believe it, feels like 9 minutes.

4. We know you have prepared everything in detail; you have taken care of every aspect and even hired the very best of wedding planners. Let me tell you the ugly truth: no wedding is perfect. The word “perfect” is overrated. You can be truly ready for the big day but there is always, always something that you can’t plan for. And when something goes wrong, anything, and it’s will happen, just breath, sit down, relax and enjoy the show. It’s not your job to solve it. And your wedding planner’s job is to solve it before anybody realizes, even you most of the time. At the end, make a good point about everything that doesn’t come out as you planned. Laugh at it and have it as a story to tell.

5. As we said before, everything goes real fast. You wont be able to meet and greet with everyone.  It’s practically impossible to say hi to everyone, so make the best out of it. Enjoy every minute of the wedding day and make it memorable. Don’t worry if you are not able to dance or talk with all your friends and family gathered there, but if you want to make it up to them, Thank You cards after the wedding are a must.

Now, go out there and make YOUR wedding happen with no mistakes. You can't say we haven't told you. :)
